#7 - Alpha v0.5


Hello!
It's been about 2 months since the last alpha release, and although time flies very quickly and there's always so much to do when solo developing a game, it feels like I've made a lot of progress! From start to finish there's about an hour's worth of content in the alpha at the moment, and even a little bit of replay value. An hour might not seem like much, but I'm only planning on this game being 4 or 5 hours long, so 1 whole hour is a big chunk and really gives a feel for what the final thing might look like.

Cover Art
There's also some cover art in the works, that's obviously required for a steam release, but also means that the Itch page gets a spruce up. You can see some of it around the page already, but it's in the final adjustment stages so what you see might not be final.

Changes in v0.5
- New tools (mining hammer, charge launcher, spectro scanner)
- New devices (small and large explosives)
- Icons for everything!
- Upgrades!
- 7 in game "days", with hand designed levels
- Save/load system
- Settings and control rebindings (keyboard and game pad)
- Some story! Plus choices which have some effect...
